Program overview

Aimed at experienced top-level strategic leaders, this intensive and practical course over four days will provide participants with all of the knowledge, skills, and mindsets they need in order to grow their capabilities in leading strategic change and transformation on an organizational level. The course will also allow participants to share ideas and experiences as well as examine best practice case studies from a range of organisations and linked to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Each day will have a loose theme to it: • Day One: Understanding Organisations and the Context for Change • Day Two: Strategic Change, Transformation and Leadership • Day Three: Change, Extraordinary Circumstances, Improvement and Innovation • Day Four: Application and Change in the Real World

Learning outcomes

Better understand organizations and their systems, structure, design, development, and cultures. Understand what change truly is, how transformations work, and the importance of effectively managing and leading during transitions. Be able to apply both traditional and more modern and radical approaches to strategy and link strategy to change. Advance as a leader for organizational change and be able to set direction and inspire others through a vision. Be able to manage all stages of the change process to ensure successful outcomes and avoid errors and failure. Understand how to predict the impacts of change and manage stakeholders in times of change. Be able to overcome fear and resistance to change and to develop others in times of change. Know how to lead an organization through crisis conditions and use change management competences to recover from such conditions. Assess best practices case studies of change, including Vision 2030, and form action plans for application of the training at work
