Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings of iLead training events, the use of i-lead.swiss, and any service provided by iLead Swiss Institute for Learning and Development GmbH ("iLead", "we", "us"). By registering for an event or using this website, you agree to these terms.

1. Registration and booking confirmation

Your registration — whether submitted directly by you or on your behalf — constitutes a legal agreement between you and iLead for the purchase of the iLead training course indicated on the booking form. The booking is confirmed when iLead acknowledges receipt in writing.

2. Fees and payment terms

• 100% of the amount specified in your booking form is payable within 15 days of invoice receipt, and in any event no later than 48 hours before the event.
• Payment may be made by cash, credit/debit card, cheque, or bank transfer.
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes — including without limitation VAT, sales, service, or withholding taxes — which are the participant's responsibility where applicable.
• Failure to pay or pay on time may affect your right to participate in the course.

3. Cancellation and postponement by you

Any cancellation or postponement must be provided in writing to your iLead account manager and to training@ilead.swiss.

• No cancellation fee if cancelled at least 30 days before the event start date.
• Cancellations made 14 to 30 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event are not eligible for a refund, but receive a credit note usable toward a future iLead training event.
• Participants who do not cancel are considered "no-shows" and are not eligible for refunds or credits.
• Substitutions with employees from your organisation are accepted up to 5 days before the event at no charge.
• Credit notes issued by iLead may be utilised by you or any other person within the same organisation, and remain valid for 12 months.

4. Cancellation or postponement by iLead

• All course fees paid will be refunded in full, with at least one week's notice where possible.
• Alternatively, you may choose to attend the same or an equivalent course at a later date, or receive a credit note for the full amount valid for 12 months.

5. Changes to the course

iLead reserves the right to make material changes to the trainer, venue, time, date or content of a course prior to the advertised start date. If you have already registered, you will be notified in writing of any such changes.

6. Intellectual property

• All intellectual property rights in or arising out of the training — including the course materials, presentations, exercises and recordings — are owned by iLead.
• No reproduction, scan or copy (in whole or in part) of any training material may be made without iLead's prior written consent.

7. Feedback, complaints and refund policy

• Feedback is acknowledged, recorded and reviewed to identify improvements. Send feedback to ilead@ilead.swiss.
• Refund requests must be submitted in writing with sufficient detail for iLead to compile an official written response.
• iLead will respond to refund requests within one calendar week.

8. Photographs and publicity material

iLead reserves the exclusive right to use photographs, electronic images, video and audio recordings taken during its events for the purposes of trade, advertising, sales, publicity and similar communications. By booking into a course or event you confirm that you are aware of this. If you do not wish iLead to use your image or voice, please notify us in writing in advance.

9. Use of this website (i-lead.swiss)

• The website is provided "as is". iLead makes reasonable efforts to keep it available, accurate and secure, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
• Use of any forms (Contact, Enrollment, Brochure Request, Newsletter) requires that you provide accurate information and respect any consent boxes.
• Personal data submitted via this website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

iLead's liability is limited to direct damages caused by gross negligence or intent. iLead is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from the use of training materials, course content, or this website, to the extent permitted by Swiss law.

11. Force majeure

Neither party shall be deemed in breach of these terms if unable to fulfil its obligations by reason of fire, earthquake, pandemic, labour dispute, illness or incapacity, or any local, state, federal, national or international law, governmental order or regulation, or any other event beyond that party's reasonable control.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of Bern, Switzerland. The laws of Switzerland apply. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Bern.

14. Changes to these terms

iLead may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to your booking is the version in force at the moment your booking is confirmed. The current version is always published on this page.
